Having some fun with the Hudson River, an inevitable source of morning and afternoon walks, in all seasons and weather. The river travels upward past Albany into the Atlantic Ocean. By my usual haunt, Riverside Park and the 79th St Boat Basin, there are myriad sights and sounds - birds, bicyclists, barking dogs, among others. Whipping winds beat up the foam, chugging barges leave streaming wakes, and the sight of the George Washington Bridge off in the distance looms like a filigree design stretching across to New Jersey. Even the flotsam and jetsam exhibit beauty.
