Aftermath, Persistence of Memory

April 16, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

The day after the Boston Marathon, the persistence of gloom and sorrow.  The fresh memory of the attack mars the joys of spring as I return to the Community Garden to see new plantings and the tulip clusters swaying in an April breeze. My images reflect the mourning. They are warped and shadowy, devoid of color. Leaves and buds and flowers press against walls, brick and concrete, plaintively. No way out.
