The dog run in Riverside Park, NYC, is amusing. Every breed and size can be spotted cavorting and contorting. Owners and walkers gather in sunshine to watch the play. Sometimes they mediate. Sunday afternoon becomes a gathering place with its water hole constantly refreshed for dogs thirsty from their active running. It's a good place to learn about dogs and their suitability for NYC apartment living. Fortunately or unfortunately, my "boutique" apartment building does not allow pets. However, I can enjoy others at the dog run and do not have to do the thrice daily walk and poo pick up.
