Homes in several blocks of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, have massive electric bills...of their own choosing. A competition seems to exist among the varied mansions. Whose lights are the most magnificent, glorious, sensational, incredible, etc., etc? Cars move slowly through the blocks and no one honks to speed them up. Pedestrians stroll leisurely, oohing and aahing at the sights. Best, of course, to be on foot, with tripod and cable release. Next best, in a car, photographing through the window. Not ideal, but not all photographic situations are. Perhaps another visit to do it right.
