Breakfast with a Friend
She likes to meet once a week to catch up on political news sharing and current novel reading. Most times we breakfast at a local diner, but sometimes we become more extravagant and choose a fancier spot where flowers adorn the tables and tiny lights are strung on the planters outside the restaurant. Morning September light is lovely, catching shadows. The plating is fancy, whether Belgian Waffle or Omelette with choice of three selections. Trumpian politics is driving us sad and mad.
