Geese and Goslings

By the pond they wander, geese and goslings. Their honks sound like "ruff, ruff." With goslings in tow, the geese head across the grass and wade into the pond. There they swim ever so gracefully past the bordering phragmites. One goose stands off by itself, perhaps a monitor looking for strays and calling all to join the gathering..

Horses in Copake

In both infrared (faux color and black and white) and color, horses make great subjects with their majestic bodies and artful grazing. Trying to get them to look straight at me is challenging. They prefer nibbling on grass. However, there are times when they do stare at me, staring at them. Contact is made.
